All this started a few years ago, on October 13th 2008, when our middle child, Jontxu, was diagnosed with a rare neurodegenerative disease. They told us that Jon's brain was going, it was going -- and there was nothing they could do.
We promised Jontxu that we were going to do everything we possibly could to make his life as full as possible.
The first challenge was to keep Jontxu alive, which we managed to do thanks to a bone marrow transplant. Now, in phase two, we're focusing on how to help in the search for treatments for diseases like this. And we decided that, using our shared love of music, we could build a project -- which we've named "The Walk On Project"...
